This week, after having seen all the best runway looks that the fashion week in Paris, London, and Milan have reserved to us, we have carefully selected the best trend to follow for this season, discovered which are the best pieces worth investing in, and the essential items to have for the colder months ahead. Here’s what we’ve found out!
Knitted Vest
Gucci has shown us how to properly rock a granddad style vest while Prada shows us a preppy side to it! You can find a vest to match your personal style and pair it with fitted trousers and ankle boots and be sure you’ll look phenomenal! Also, you can always add layers to your vest to stay stylish and warm!
Cropped Blazers
I’m a super fan of a good blazer! And cropped blazers are going to be a huge trend this autumn. It is like all the coolest designers took their scissors to the omnipresent oversized blazers we’ve been seeing and declared that shorter versions are in for the foreseeable future. A cropped blazer can give a completely different look to an outfit and transform it completely! You can keep it classy it with an all-black outfit with leather trousers and heels or styled casually with a white shirt and a pair of jeans and sneakers.
Combat Boots
Another trend that I have started seeing a lot on my Instagram feed recently and that I’m absolutely in love with is combat boots to be so comfortably chic! They have quickly become a staple in my wardrobe because they give my look that cool-girl edge while keeping my feet warm and dry. Doc Martens rules!
Statement Collars
This trend has been seen a lot on the runway from Chloe to Bottega Veneta be it ’80s ruffles or a ’70s-inspired dagger collar. It’s the perfect piece to add personality to your fall outfits and it is a good alternative to a plain white shirt. Perfect for your Zoom meeting!
Belted Jacket
That’s a hot trend that you easily recreate with clothes you probably have at home. So, take your favourite blazer or jacket and style it with a belt and ta-dah you’ll be super trendy! You can style it with your own belt if you like and add your personal touch to it. Attention: this trend will give you 100% a very gorgeous figure!
Chains
Whether they are on shoes, bags, belts, gold or silver, thick or thin you will see them everywhere! With the right chunky necklace or pair of sparkly statement earrings, your blazer/dress/sweater looks even more stylish. Find the perfect chain to complete your outfit without fearing to be over the top!
Total Leather Outfits
This is not really a new trend but is becoming more and more popular each year. On the runway, we have seen leather full look both in black and in more neutral colours as well. A good pair of leather trousers is just the perfect go through for me! A great way to wear your leather jacket and completely embrace this trend is to match it with a pair of leather trousers in the same or a different colour!
Cardigans with Crop Top
From Prada to Fendi we have seen it in all different sizes and shapes. Cardigans are having quite a moment this fall! The latest trend is to match your cardigan with a crop top underneath and to style it over as a two-piece outfit or can be used in winter for layering. If you are extra, a fun idea could be to wear it with matching and clashing colours. In its most classic version, it is a timeless piece that you can wear year after year and it never gets old!
