We are small team of postgraduate students undertaking a degree in Digital Marketing Strategy. Together we are building a new and exciting space for TCD Students to explore the world of fashion and beauty, with a key emphasis on modern looks and individual style. Our site, blog and events will both keep us busy and you part of a fun growing community.
Angela Low
Chairperson
Angela is a graduate in Communication Science and has a passion for marketing and persuasive communication! She has previously worked with clients such as L’oreal Paris, Singapore Airlines, and Microsoft. In her free time, she likes travelling, reading, singing, and watching romcoms on Netflix. As a plus-sized person of colour, Angela advocates for inclusivity and diversity in the fashion industry as well as more sustainable practices from designers. A must-have item in her closet will have to be a black dress; one can never go wrong with it!

Eleonora Persico
Treasurer
Eleonora is the treasurer of TCD Fashionistas and her goal is to provide our society with sound financial administration so that all aspects of our club’s funds are properly managed and accounted for. She’s a graduate in Business and Management in Italy and her passion for style and fashion started when she first stepped into her mom’s high heels and from then it never stopped! We can describe her fashion style as casual and she loves to mix vintage pieces and contemporary ones!

Angelina Vorobieva

Angelina is currently studying MSc in Digital Marketing Strategy at Trinity College Dublin. Somewhere between binge watching Project Runway and being the style consultant for her whole family, she discovered fashion as her passion. She is looking forward to a great year ahead with the Fashionistas amazing community and lots of great events this year!

Zhijiao Chen
Events Officer
Zhijiao is from China and graduated in journalism and communication. She is experienced in organizing some interesting and creative events. For example, she once worked as an intern at Ogilvy Advertising Company, assisted the team in organizing many creative advertising activities, and also organized in TCD China Association Spring Festival Gala. Her favorite fashion style is old school! She is a big fan of sneakers!

Shane Hughes
Editor in Chief
Shane is a graduate in Film and Media Studies and has a keen interest in editing, sales and creative writing. As our editor in chief, he hopes to build fun and informative website with exciting and diverse content. Shane previously worked for An Post in their promotions department. He also was the Assistant News Editor and later the Deputy Features Editor at the student newspaper Trinity News, Ireland’s oldest and award winning student publication. His favourite look is smart casual with a particular love for blazers and skinny jeans! Shane takes inspiration from the styles of the late 60s and mid 90s!
